We're looking for a safety-focused, detail-oriented Production Operator to join our growing team in Orlando, FL. In this hands-on role, you'll support production and packaging operations while helping ensure the highest standards of safety, quality, and operational excellence. The schedule is Monday-Friday, day shift, with occasional overtime as required.

What You'll Do
  • Perform production and packaging operations, including transferring, blending, filling, and labeling specialty chemical products in accordance with established procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements.
  • Operate, monitor, and assist in the safe operation of production equipment within the scope of authority.
  • Fill totes, drums, and pails while following established quality and safety standards.
  • Perform required inspections for totes and ensure accurate product identification and labeling.
  • Complete production documentation, log sheets, and operational records accurately in both manual logs and the ERP system.
  • Conduct routine plant inspections and follow scheduled housekeeping and cleanliness procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Assist with equipment cleaning, preparation, facility maintenance, and troubleshooting as required.
  • Support inventory counts and maintain accurate raw material and packaging inventories.
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area while following all Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety (QEHS), Hazard Communication (HazCom), Department of Transportation (DOT), and company procedures.
  • Perform basic mathematical calculations related to production volumes and filling capacities.
  • Work safely with hazardous chemicals while wearing required personal protective equipment, including respiratory protection when necessary.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to personal safety, the safety of fellow team members, and Guardian's safety-first culture.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Plant Manager.

What You Bring
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Previous forklift experience is considered an asset; forklift training and certification will be provided.
  • Basic understanding of chemistry, manufacturing, production, or warehouse operations is preferred; training will be provided.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow detailed production procedures.
  • A strong commitment to putting safety first in every task.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations accurately.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with basic computer proficiency.
  • Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50 lbs throughout the shift.
  • Ability to push, pull, and maneuver drums weighing up to 500 lbs using appropriate equipment.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday.
  • Willingness to wear respiratory protection and other required PPE while working with certain chemicals.
  • Willingness to get a Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
